Outstanding finale for one of the greatest fantasy series I’ve ever read. If you thought the first two Mistborn novels were good, you’ll love this.
Essentially continues the story of Elend and his army as well as former members of Kelsier’s crew. There’s also some pretty epic things that have been brewing for the last two books. There’s lots of action, comedy, sad moments and amazing storytelling. Just as face paced tempered with plenty of detail and excellent writing. Essentially what the other Mistborn novels to date had but on a larger scale.
Telling the plot too much more would give away spoilers. Suffice it to say that I really enjoyed this novel. The best way to celebrate an amazing epic fantasy trilogy is a stellar ending, grand yet endearing. The Hero of Ages is sure to surprise you as well as satisfy your Mistborn needs.
Truly excellent. Sanderson is something special. 5/5
